Dry-Type Transformer Cooling Fan

  • It is primarily used for cooling and capacity enhancement in dry-type transformers, as well as for cooling and temperature reduction in electronic equipment, power distribution cabinets, high- and low-voltage switchgear, and similar products.

I. Product Applications and Features
The cross-flow cooling fan for dry-type transformers (hereinafter referred to as the “Dry Transformer Cooling Fan”) is primarily used to enhance the cooling capacity of dry-type transformers, as well as to provide cooling and temperature reduction for electronic equipment, power distribution cabinets, high- and low-voltage switchgear, and similar products. This series of cooling fans can increase the output power of a dry-type transformer by 40–50%, thereby significantly boosting its load-bearing capacity and extending its service life. It represents the most economical and effective method widely adopted by manufacturers both domestically and internationally.
II. Working Principle
When utilized with dry-type transformers, the cooling fans are positioned on both sides beneath the transformer coils. They direct a stream of cool air directly into the high- and low-voltage cooling ducts within the transformer coils. This arrangement yields a highly effective heat dissipation result, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the transformer and extending its service life. (Functions such as fan start/stop control, as well as transformer over-temperature alarms and automatic trip mechanisms, are managed by a dedicated temperature control device.)
