Dry-Type Transformer Temperature Controller – Plastic Enclosure

  • The Dry-Type Transformer Temperature Display Controller is a new generation of multifunctional, microprocessor-based temperature controllers designed to ensure the reliable operation of air-cooled dry-type power transformers. It utilizes three PT100 platinum thermal resistors—embedded within the three-phase windings of the transformer—to detect temperature rises in the winding coils. Based on these temperature readings, the controller automatically manages the startup and shutdown of cooling fans, triggers over-temperature alarms, and initiates an ultra-high temperature trip to safeguard the transformer’s operation. Designed in accordance with the JB/T7631 standard and incorporating advanced single-chip microcomputer technology combined with I²C storage and adjustment techniques, the controller features a simple structure, reliable performance, and exceptional anti-interference capabilities. Furthermore, the controller includes a “Black Box” function capable of recording the temperatures of the three winding coils, as well as the operational status of the unit itself, immediately prior to a power outage.
