Embed piezoelectric sensors (such as piezoelectric ceramics) on the road surface. When the tire rolls over the sensor, the pressure causes the piezoelectric material to polarize, outputting a voltage signal proportional to the pressure (piezoelectric effect). The detector captures this voltage signal. When it exceeds the threshold, it is determined that the axle has passed.
Features: It can roughly perceive the axle load, has relatively low installation damage, but may cause fatigue problems due to long-term dynamic impact.
